A family business built on Row A.
A&J Produce was founded in May 1977 by three good friends — Al Weiler, Joe Levantino, and John Tramutola — who together brought more than 75 years of wholesale produce experience to Hunts Point Terminal Market. Starting with three units on Row A, they built the company on four simple ideas: quality, service, freshness, and value.
Today A&J is a proud third-generation family business operating multiple units on Row A (126–133, 137–144) and Row D (450–463) — one of the largest fresh fruit and vegetable wholesalers in the region.
